My collages are made from magazine cuttings and other found materials such as glass and flower petals. In later work, paints, pastels, and sketchings are also incorporated. Simple elements, rich color, and a sense of luminosity repeatedly emerge and surround faceless women and disembodied hands as I try to find a balance between the freedom of expression and the inherent limitations of the practice.

My writing takes root in stillness, often coming to life in moments when my thoughts are able to distill into the most essential truths that guide me through this life. Though I’m pretty sure neither the experience nor the results are as pretentious as that sounds.

My inspiration comes from seeing others express themselves with complete sincerity.
